Merthyr College & Green Man Festival Training and Development Project

Working in partnership with Merthyr Tydfil College, The Green Man Trust Ltd supports 10 students annually to complete a placement on the Audio Visual team at Green Man Festival.

Students aged between 14-19 from Merthyr Tydfil - an area of high unemployment - are exposed to a broad range of unique opportunities and experiences, and learn valuable professional skills on an intensive 5-day training programme.

Students are mentored by top entertainment industry professionals that work around the world on major tours and in renowned venues. It’s a unique opportunity for growth and development,  enhancing students’ technical skills as they gain hands-on experience of live production on a large scale.
